James V. Walker began his career as an attorney in 1976. He
now focuses on estate planning, trust creation and administration,
probate and guardianship administration, business organizations, tax
planning and controversies, and legal system avoidance planning. He is admitted to practice in Florida, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the U.S. Tax Court. Mr.
Walker has published several works dealing with investment and has
taught classes in Advanced Estate Planning at the American College in
Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.He has also
been active in the community as President and a Board Member of the
Youth Crisis Center - The Safe Place and a member of the Youth Crisis
Center Foundation.
Mr.
Walker has been a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association and the
Subchapter S Tax Committee of the American Bar Association.He
has also been involved in the Florida Bar's Sections on Taxation, Real
Property, and Probate and has been a member of the Committees on Income
Taxation and Estates and Trusts.
In addition to his Juris Doctor, Mr. Walker holds an LL.M. in Taxation. He earned both distinctions at the University of Florida College of Law. Mr. Walker earned his Bachelor's degree at the University of Florida.
